how candian's can open WAMU account

Could anyone help me out here, i'm a canadian and want to open a us online chequeing account with debit card preferably with WAMU.Any help!!

Why?
There are benefits to having Canadian accounts.

It doesn't look like it's possible (from the WAMU site):

You'll need...
* Social security or taxpayer ID number
* Driver's license or state ID
* Routing & Account number if you want to use an external account for your opening deposit

As I read, will be more easy having a LLC about 95$ US, (the advantages of a self employer on the taxes report but with the protection of an Inc. in Canada) after you will use your tax id of the LLC to applied with your CDN driver license, link your account # to the canadian #.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. But I came across a site where a Canadian opened a US bank account in NY or somewhere close to the border. He went their personally but did most of it over the phone. But yeah you'll need photo ID (PP, Drivers) utility bill proving your residence and other usual suspects (documentation)... all thanks to the Patriot Act (post-911).
