There was some switching between ETH and BNB in the duration to increase my ETH holdings as well. |

If so, what is the driving force? |

If so, what is the driving force? | I watched a trader live on youtube and they showed a trend of the previous which usually takes about 7 months for it to come back up.
He did say we are in bear market and it'd be foolish to sell and some what good time to buy more.
I forgot his name but he's one of the more sensible ones. |
| slokor | 04-28-2022 10:57 AM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up Perfect time for some swap trading.
Did a few transactions on the ETH/BNB pair - gained another 3.5% to my holdings.
The value of the currencies is of much less concern if thats what youre doing. |

Kinda scared of messing it up then lose $$ |

Kinda scared of messing it up then lose $$ | You literally swap them. Much like moving your balances in your checking accounts. Move balance of BTC to another crypto when it is falling. Move it back if it trends up etc.... can more to a stable coin. Can leave them in a high interest yield exchange too. 8-10% plus any gains in swapping isnt a bad savings. |

Cardano dips, use btc to buy some, then when cardano goes up, but more btc?
Things is what I see in my portfolio when BTC drops, almost everything drops |

What exchange are you using? |

I personally expect much more drops in all markets before much goes up. I would bet most everything I own the western world is headed for a long slow recession. |

I remember a trader friend told me we are going into recession if we aren't already in, but it shouldn't be worse than 2008.
I just want housing prices to drop to somewhat affordable level instead of the craziness we are in right now.
I'm using Binance. |

I'm using Binance. | EVERYTHING is worse than 2008. Housing market long term is very dim in the USA. Less and less people, more and more building etc. The 2020-2022 boom was artificial. Much like the crypto and stock market. The money is getting extracted out slowly. Second and third mortgages have already dropped 80-90% This will get rocky for many.
Binance is very easy to swap trade with very low fees. |
| slokor | 04-28-2022 03:22 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up I made over 100% profit on my investment in 2021 by swap trading.
In the last 48 hours I made 3.5% on swapping from ETH to BNB and then 24 later swapping it back to ETH.
Waiting now for BNB to go down again to repeat the process.
The margins are small but when youre playing with high amounts of money it still translates into big money. And over the course of a year these small transactions can easily add up to over 100% as I made in 2021. |

Binance is very easy to swap trade with very low fees. | I was looking at housing market in USA and it's insane people are paying over list price.
But again, I heard that around late 2023 the prices would be better in most areas. |

If so, what is the driving force? | The ETH Merge, if it happens this year. Bitcoin will have to wait until the halving unless some unknown event happens between now and then (2024). |
| SaiJin | 04-29-2022 11:05 AM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up ETH gonna merge with what? |
| Futuremogul888 | 04-29-2022 05:58 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up There are a lot of potential catalysts upcoming. This is a bear trend and not a bear market. You have an Aussie Spot ETF coming this month and a USA spot ETF to follow sometime this year. Institutions and venture funds are raising tons of money and investing 100s of millions every week in web3 (crypto) protocols, along with Bitcoin, eth and other large caps.
I would not be at all worried about holding good coins right now. It is only a matter of time.
The eth merge (fully Proof of stake eth chain) will not likely happen this year but there will be a ton of working layer 2s to pick up the slack along with good EVM layer ones.
Yes, the housing market is a giant bubble. It is 2008 on steroids. It is only a matter of time before a massive correction in housing prices. Never fomo into any investment.
This is not financial advice. |
| SaiJin | 05-02-2022 03:52 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up Hmmm... trend vs market...
What's the difference? |
| Futuremogul888 | 05-02-2022 10:54 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up This downturn in price is short term. Institutions and VCs don't enter a market to try and catch a falling knife. They signal the bottom. Retail enters in the middle and the top. |
