Okay so I managed to get my hands on one PC game code (used on Origin) for a fairly recent game. I didn't wish to play it myself so I put it on eBay...Within a day it sells and the buyer seemed happy.
3 Days later he messages me, I could barely understand a word he is saying, his sentence structures were abysmal and he's blackmailing me to give him a refund as the key doesn't work otherwise he would leave negative feedback...Anyways he already left feedback but he accidentally made it positive and it says "DOES NOT WORK"...Clever guy it seems.
I tried redeeming the key and it seems he had already redeemed it. In his next message he sends me a picture showing that he is logged into origin with the game in his library however he is unable to download Origin on his computer as his hardware isn't good enough. He blamed me because apparently YouTube told him to and now a case has been opened up against me...Is there anything I can do in this situation? Or is it my great luck with amazing buyers who definitely don't like screwing me over?
Any help would be much appreciated
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I'd email him and ask if the "redeem" was successful and put something like .. There has been problems with network connections .. if he says yes it worked fine but it wont download .. forward email to eBay ..and tell them you have fulfilled your side of the bargain.. is a steam code ? If so u can raise a ticket with steam and they will tell you if hes using it or not and when it activated
Yeah I normally use the tracked letter trick and it works everytime with PayPal however with eBay cases I don't think I stand a chance...
If you're the first one to ask eBay to step in and help you will win the case 99% of the time. This is assuming you did your tracking number trick first.
It just baffles me how ridiculously easy it is to scam the small sellers of these digital goods, thank God I'm not in that game for good, I could see myself stressing 24/7. I will contact eBay but I'll hope for the worst, might have to just accept my losses :(

And this is why we don't suggest people sell these items. Sorry you got burned but those are the waters.
I like to waste money on customers that piss me off by sending them shiit like this https://www.ruindays.com/products/sp...poop-in-a-tube hopefully some of them get hit right in the face, if not they still have to clean it up so to me it is well worth the $20

They're sold out. :(
Looks like somebody at ruindays.com isn't getting enough fiber.
