Default Buyer threatening negative fb, what do i do and where do i stand?

Hi all,

I have a problem buyer, he has ripped me off on another account of mine a while ago and has recently bought 2 items from two of my other running accounts, his paypal address is unconfirmed so i refunded him and said sorry i do not ship to unconfirmed paypal addresses and then filed an ebay dispute with the same info, he has since canceled the disputes and said he is going to give me negative fb if i do not accept the payment and send the items.

I would like to know where i stand in this situation and wondered if i am within my rights because of the dispute and ebay will remove the feedback if he leaves me negative ( which he probably will do)

Or if anyone has any other ideas feel free, basically i don't want any negative feedbacks on these accts at all.

Cheers,

Isnt that feedback extortion? Which isnt allowed. Copy what was said back and forth. Hopefully its on ebays message system. You have every right to deny payment if its an unconfirmed address. I believe thats even one of the reasons ebay gives you when cancelling a transaction.

Talk to live help if you need to.

Are you sure this is not a competitor? Who filed with ebay? You or him?
Have you asked yourself why there is more than one account involved?

If you suspect someone, you can always block them to bid on your auctions in the future....

Well eBay replied and said i am obliged to send the item and the buyer is within his rights to leave me negative feedback if i do not send it because i dont state in my auctions that i wont ship to unconfirmed paypal addresses.

So therefore i am in the wrong!

What a load of crap that is, not sure how to solve this now.

greenbean- he is not a competitor and i filed with ebay.

Cheers guys!

ebay do nothing to help with negs, in my experience, however you can file an ebay form for defamation and they will sometimes oblige.

I would take the negative and move on. No sense in worrying about it and sending the item will cost your especially if he already has plans on ripping you off. If you sell alot of items the neg will soon disappear and you will forget about it. Block that id so he can never buy from you again.

Just my 2 cents

Just send the items with a confirmation and move on .. i got involved in something like this - doing my own revenge and it didnt help and i ended getting my policy compliance lowerd and still get limited on items from time to time and i havent had a vero since june ...You do not have to get veros to get lowered it can be from feedback mnipulation like i had - which they hold on your account for apparently a year .

retsaw, alter your listings in the future to say you only send to confirmed paypal address. Cover yourself.
