I am having a super hard time trying to keep the accounts up and running. I am reading and reading to help the situation. I just want to know that there is hope out there. I am buying the stealth guide for sure. I am just wondering if I am in trouble either way with vero products. Sometimes it is my sellers faults but other times, no reason for the suspension. |

| rockitaway | 12-27-2012 06:45 PM | Mine is a similar story. Two years as top-rated and power seller status on a single account with 99.9% positive feedback. All disputes were immediately responded to and full refunds given, even without customers returning the items. I bent over backwards for customer service and fast shipping, then all of a sudden, I went to log in to my eBay account, and there was "the red message of death" notifying me that my account had been permanently suspended. |
| enwayne | 12-31-2012 12:33 AM | That sucks, may I ask what you were selling? Any message from Ebay stating why you were banned? And you said it was a permanent ban out of nowhere, no strikes or warnings? |
| stealthpaulstealth | 12-31-2012 01:51 AM | i run 50 active accounts now.
never been suspended for linking or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info
most of my accounts are 1-4 years old
a dozen are top rated or power seller accounts
1-2 get closed a month because i get bad feedback, or i forget to pay fees, or they want me to verify and im too lazy to call, usually when i call it works though. my fault.
i sell high risk item, non vero. so they just close new ones for that reason as well at times. |

Selling lower risk items and when I do seller higher risk items I balance them out with lower risk ones. The stealth guide really is the basics you need to know. Then experience, learning from others will help you to learn more and more and avoid mistakes on the bay/paypal. I have 5 stealth's right now fully operational. | psun786 | 07-23-2013 12:52 AM | I have been with eBay for over 10 years and never had a problem. I listed some Sennheiser headphones for sale once and was told they can't be shipped to Europe due parallel import restriction. That is only time they removed one of my listing.
The bottom line is that if you spend a lot time going through their rules & restrictions (listed and hidden) then follow each one of them. You won't run into problems and probably don't need a stealth account.
But again, there probably won't be much $$ to be made if that is the case lol |

| A very Naive statement. What you are saying is that everyone here who uses a stealth account got suspended because they broke Ebay's rules. Lots of people here were suspended for no rhyme or reason other then Ebay's paranoia. |
| james13v | 08-13-2013 03:06 PM | lasted for many years. Then ebay said , paraphrasing here " we are not sure if you are sure if your products are authentic". Based on " 100% authenticity guaranteed, or your money back".
I guess, in their twisted mind, the way to get me suspended, was to imply that my offer of money back, was my way of saying that it COULD be a ⊗⊗⊗⊗. |

If you think you could possibly get done for vero, then you probably will, so avoid listing such items on good accounts. |

Never sell anything risky as I feel that is work you did to build an account for nothing to waste it away trying a risky product.
Find a legit good products and in the long run you will be way ahead money wise and still have your sanity.
My older accounts from 1995 to 2009 continue to make me the most money as they dont have any limits of any kind.
My real account of course is my top money maker and has been attacked by ebay a few times but each time I come out fine.
Ebay or paypal will never defeat me again.

| jackjjohn | 01-18-2014 04:24 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? I have 3 accounts , one was a power seller bronze from 1999 that was the one vero'd and still alive, i supplied all what they asked for but ebay still leaves me in limbo, i can buy but not sell on it. The other 2,also vero'd :1 is still alive and selling through it now, 100% linked but they left it alive, one thing that was different was I was giving 5 % to charity on A FEW of the listings on that account. Not certain its what kept that account alive but I still do it on a few listings just in case with the charity % , its good PR i thought for selling but may be it is why its still here? thoughts?.
also quick question- I had a few stealth accounts via aspkin methods which got restricted , i am wondering if the fact i was dropshipping on my first listings may have triggered it? I am thinking next stealth accounts i set up best list an old book to sell thats laying around the apartment? |
| bjammin | 01-30-2014 05:54 PM | Re: anybody been on unmolested for more than 12 months? The molestation of my real account is what allowed me to find this awesome forum. And I am happy that it happened because this is like knowing that the matrix actually exist. I was selling some stuff using the company's photos (problem #1). EB yanked those items down. I get a slap on the wrist along with the message saying "in no way are your listings being targeted". I'm thinking, "Awesome, since they are not looking, I'll just take my own pics and repost". So this time I get a 7 day suspension for trademark infringement - counterfeit. Funny thing is that they did this by just seeing my pics because I know no customer had received their item yet. Now, I am p*ssed. Now, I am waiting out my 7 days patiently. Just more time to research these jackasses :deadhorse: So i start researching all this v**o BS trying to figure out what it is. A couple weeks later, I re-list again, and nothing. Finally, I get hit again. 3rd offense, 30 day suspension. Fortunately my items were GTC so it really didnt affect my non-offensive items. That is when I found this forum. At first, I thought "Wow, these people are nuts, all conspiracy theorists." I was wrong, so wrong. EB and PP are just like foosball and Vicki Vallencourt... They are "the devil"
:hellBoy:
Now, I have had 11 stealth accounts, 10 active and 1 suspended. The suspended account was semi-intentional to see how far I could push the envelope before killing the account. Plus, I know that my other accounts were not linked because they are still up. I know there is no guideline, but it seems time is the best medicine for any type of violation. All my feedback on these accounts is 100% positive. Some have 200+ fb, some have 10+ fb. These accounts were created between May and now. |

I started with Ebay in 2000. I had over a 1000 feedbacks with 99.2% positive. I was a platinum power seller.
I left my full time job at the begining of 2007 to build my business on ebay, and make it my new full-time job.
The first year(07)..Everything went great. I had my ups and downs through the year but grossed about 275,000. So I felt I was doing something right.
Well that was until VERO. .feb 08
It all started with a stupid little decal. Yep, a sticker!! Ebay shut my auction down and said I violated a trademark.(strike 1)
Ok, so I re-worded my auction, and let it fly again. Mind you, there was plenty of the decals currently being sold on ebay, and that's where I got mine originally. Well after a week or so, they shut ALL my auctions down. (strike 2). Again with the same problem, trademark infringement.
So, this time I STOPPED selling the stupid decal. I concentrated on all my other products, and things got back to normal until............wham! you guess it, they claimed I was selling counterfeits. Which was a complete lie. I had been on ebay for 8 years with nearly 100% feedback, and "Counterfeits" were NEVER part of my inventory.
I tried calling them and begging them to understand that there must be mistake......NOTHING.
They really don't care about their sellers, and it didn't matter one bit that for the last 8 years I had bought and sold countless items on their site, with nearly perfect feedback.
(I used to pay over $900 a month in ebay and paypal fees)
so after the final take-down, they suspended me permanently. With no hopes of appealing the decision.
I considered sueing ebay and the company claiming I infringed on their trademark, but I couldn't afford it. I also was told by a lawyer friend, I had no hopes of winning and would only be wasting my time/money.
Anyways, my business has pretty much fizzled out to nothing, and now I in danger of losing my house.
I tried using another name on ebay and they eventually caught it, and suspended that one too based solely on the fact that it was associated to the other suspended account.
I have been reading this website with hopes of getting back on ebay. so I can make a living. I am an honest seller. I do not scam people and everything I sell is exactly what I claim it is.
HELP!!
Pat |
This happened to me about 3 days ago. In a short span of 6 months I became a Gold PowerSeller and TRS within 3 months. I have grossed about $150,000 in sales and have a 99.4% FB rating.
Same story, got a trademark violation, very vague.. I called eBay and the Philippines CSR told me it was my title, I should change it and I can repost and be good. I did that, reposted the item, boom second Trademark violation, this time they wrote it was VERO and gave me a contact of the apple rep. Contacted the Apple Rep he gave me some BS story on how their batteries and power products have trademark. 3 Days later, I am suspended from posting in a specific category.
Again, I have made huge investments to post items on eBay and begin the business and they suspend me. I was in disbelief, but immediately got the eBook and read the entire thing. Now I know, there is no way to navigate this minefield and be safe. The big corporations control the world, eBay is scared of them suing and can't do anything about it, so they push it on to us, normal people who want to make a living.
Its funny how eBay demands their sellers to have AMAZING customer service, to takes losses on items in favor of the customer, to walk on eggshells to appease the customer; but their customer service is utter crap! Misinformation is the name of the game, they don't care how many accounts they kill because their lock in the business is that the Apple's Microsofts and other huge corporations are "with" them and thats the distinct business advantage they have over competitors.
Anyways, what can us little people do but figure out how to disrupt the system. Keep on pushing, this forum is not only a help to eBay sellers, its probably a place where productive and honest businessmen gather as opposed to the corporations and bankers in the world. |
