Can I appeal to eBay with Seller without resolution with this reason?

Hi all eBay Suspension Members,

I had a case closed without seller resolution on 23/05, it didn't draw my attention until i realize i'm in a danger about to go Below Standard.

So the reason there was a bug causing me having trouble to click the button like the picture i am going to share with you guys in a minutes, so i had to do the refund over Paypal instead, and in the mean while the buyer ask eBay to step in on the same day when I was done the refund via Paypal. The reason why it was this long for the refund is I was waiting for the technical problem to be resolved, util it couldn't wait no more so i had to to a refund via Paypal.

Can i use this reason to appeal the case with eBay? I had bug with my page and i had to do the refund via Paypal.

And if you guys think it is a valid good reason, should I call them or Chat Online would be better? This is my personal account i'm having trouble with.

you lost the case on June 3rd, when you didn't do anything about the return they initiated on May 26th. You refunded them on paypal on June 20th, LONG after they escalated the case. This has nothing to do with a refund. Even if you were able to refund, the case was already escalated for not responding to the return.

This is to do with the eBay seller Hub doesn't show up and Alert, does that convince eBay?

It is true that i'm having some technical problem over here, the Alert only show once saying I have a case going on, next day when i log in, it won't keep reminding me for second time.

You can appeal. Don't expect anything to change, but you can try.

Doesn't sound like a convincing argument to me, though. You had a week to resolve this, you didn't, you lost by default, game over.

Because i couldn't see the case under my alert, so it was forgotten.

I'm not saying we haven't all missed something, because we have.

I'm saying the the funds were held, you should have noticed that. There's lots of ways to know there's a problem and follow up.
