Hey guys how do i reply to a feedback?
Buyer left me a bad feedback stating the item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ , which is not true, and i want to leave a feedback explaining why it is authentic.
Im still in the process of return, is it only possible after the return is processed?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
At the same time, if it was an authentic item and he makes false claims in his feedback why not force the idiot to remove it?
I don't know how you could force them but if it's genuinely false feedback I've had a lot of success having them removed by calling in.
Didn't think about it earlier, but feedback both ways is supposed to be blocked if a return request is open. Did the buyer leave a negative then request a return?

Well he could get a lawyer and have him fire a nice letter over to the customer. False accusations, injuries to the business and what not. Give him a hard time.

Now that's what I call taking your feedback seriously. I read yesterday that you're a lawyer so I can understand why this would be your first course of action.
If you don't want to put a lawyer on retainer OP, a 2 minute call to eBay is another option for getting false feedback removed lol.

The buyer left the feedback and then opened the case. I think...
How do I know which was first? lol
Well, you can call in but I'd rather not just so that they don't look closely to my account.
When you reply, make sure you are not in your emotional state and posted something dumb.
Be calm and professional. Eventually that feedback will go on the back pages
Removing bad feedback is B.S. I had a guy threaten me to leave bad feedback if I did not refund partial payment. I messaged him several times to have paper trail and then didn't refund and he left negative feedback and I sent copies of messages to ebay and the neg feedback still on my profile after 60 days. SO good luck with having it removed.
A threatening letter from a lawyer is meaningless, it's not worth the paper it's written on.
Lawyers frequently misrepresent both their authority and ability to win a potential action.
Only somebody who hasn't ever dealt with the legal system would be impressed by a 'threatening letter'.
All that matters is what a judge says, and even then it only matters to the extent to which the winner is willing to take further action to enforce a judgment.
