Suspended for multiples account managed from the Phillipines

Hi folks,

I have a VA in the Philippines doing some research for me and occasionally purchasing items. I have him setting many Saved searches. So many that I've had to open 4 other accounts. I have my main account that I've had since the 90s.

One of the new ones was suspended and eBay doesn't tell me anything except I pose a risk to the eBay community and they hope I can find another placed to sell online. This also happened right after my VA made a couple bids and two purchases. (Paid for!).

After that, the other three were blocked because they were linked. My main account is still live.

I've called and talked with about 6 reps, calling from each of the accounts. One time I had a rep tell me that the IP address was the trouble. And a solution was to have my VA open up his own eBay account from the Philippines and his own IP address. But I don't want to mess anything up related to his IP address if there's another problem.

So I'm curious -- Is a stealth account the only option I have at this point? I'm assuming that if I try again to open an account with my name and contact info, even if we use a VPN IP address or something, that it'll still be linked.

I still can't believe that they won't even talk with me. I don't think that I violated a policy just by opening accounts and using them out of country?

But maybe I'm missing something.

Sorry this is happening to you. I can tell you are pretty new at this whole situation, but we've all been there.

There's so many moving parts to this, that I really think it's best that you start from the very beginning and acquire a strong basic knowledge.

So give the stealth guide a chance. Start there, then ask questions in here.

About accounts being operated outside of the country it's registered on will trigger those flagging. It's a common issue.

Use a reliable IP (VPS/VPN/PROXY) that is NOT public or widely used. Your VA's shouldn't be using some willy nilly Non-US IP if you care about your accounts.

Is there an IP/VPN service that you all recommend? One that would provide access to the same IP address each time?

It seems that this link is blocked in both Chrome and FF. Do I need a VPN to access the stealth guide?
