Exclamation Not as described scam

Hello aspkin members
I have drop shipped an high value phone on my old eBay account 3 times,
On the third sale the buyer requested a return 3 days after it was delivered to him, Stating he received a different phone, an old galaxy phone.
He uploaded pictures of an old galaxy phone inside the box of the new phone that I have sold him, He took a picture of the USPS package and the phone it self and uploaded it as well.

Will clarify some details so it would be easier to understand my situation:
1. Account is very aged and trusted.(5 years old)
2. Have sold 2 of this same product in the past and had no issues.
3. It's a drop shipping eBay account.

I have used the same supplier for many other sales without any issue, The buyer is definitely a professional scammer of some sort.
I know it is madness to say this but I am considering to let him win, I have a lot of money in the PayPal account that is connected to this eBay,

If fighting in this case means that eBay will potentially review and find a reason to limit my PayPal account I will be in much bigger trouble.
My PayPal account is fully verified for years.

So my bottom line questions are:
1.Do I have a reason to fear for my PayPal account while trying to win this case?
2.If I decide to take the fight with the buyer what's my chances to win it? What should I do in order to increase chances of winning?
3.Buyer left a very bold negative feedback stating I am a thief, Can I do anything to remove this?

Any advice would be very appreciated.

Most likely wont win.
Buyer is a pro and this type of item is just very high risk.

If the cost of the account outweighs the cost of said item, then let the buyer win, block and move on to protect yourself from letting this to happen again.

You must think in terms of "If I can afford to lose it, the I can afford to list it"

Also, you are dropshipping, you do not know what your supplier is doing on their end and taking a big chance with every order that ships out.

As for the feedback, id wait for others to chime in.

You could issue a feedback revision request to the buyer asking them to change the feedback of you offer them a refund, or you could contact ebay and ask them to do something about it. Both methods have been successful for me previously but I never sell high risk items.

OP dropships which could be an inherent flaw in the longterm business model when dealing with phones, sadly.

I agree with every word, Thank you the great advice.
Although the case took a weird turn, After I sent my apologies to the buyer and refunded him,
Not only he refused to revise the horrible feedback he also threats to go to the police with the "old phone" that he received and all information he has because he suspects the phone might be stolen.
This might be part of his scam, To make his story look more real,
Perhaps the supplier was the scammer in this which is has very low chance because as I said I have used the specific supplier for many other sales.

Theoretically if the supplier indeed sent a stolen old phone to the buyer, Would my account be in any trouble?

If you really sent him a stolen phone, you will be in trouble.

Sounds like you don't even have the confidence that you have a good distributor which means you haven't really done your homework correctly. Your distributor I'm assuming you just found online and they are not a big company?

Yet another reason why I hate dropshipping.
