Has anyone else signed up for the new eBay payment system?
I made the mistake of not reading thoroughly and now my sales have been cut more than 50%. The new eBay payment system does not accept Paypal from buyers and they do not expect to be able to until Summer of 2019. This really sucks and I wish they would have advertised that part a little more before offering the new payment system. But, it's my fault for not fully reading. I also found that eBay will not let you opt out of their new payment system once you sign up. I am going to still try to by calling later today. Luckily I have a couple stealth accounts to help with this sales drop.
What are your thoughts on this new eBay system?

They are. I've been invited twice now.
@OP - Dallas pointed out to me that there are sellers on ecommercybytes complaining about the same thing as you. They're saying they were basically tricked into trying out the new system, and now they can't get out and their sales are suffering.

Apparently buyers hate the new system, and the lack of PP is a deal killer, plus international buyers can't use the new system, so it's like a death-blow for anyone who 'opted' in.
I feel for these people in my heart, but anyone who trusts EB pretty much gets burned. Bad.

Since my post, my sales have actually picked back up a little. Now, I'm only down about 25% since the start. Still not ideal. The system itself is very nice. All done in one place and easy daily transfers. I just wish they would have figured out accepting PayPal right off the bat. It does seem like eBay may be trying to become a new Amazon though. Be ready, which I'm sure most of you are.
