Ebay refunds and direct shipping from first buyer to second chance offer buyer

Has anyone done this on Ebay and will it get you into trouble? Not sure if this is considered drop shipping:

Ebay buyer #1 chooses to return the item. Instead of shipping to me, I'll have them ship it to next buyer #2 on Ebay directly, usually a buyer using the second chance offer option. This way I don't have to wait a week to receive it, pay the postage for the return, just to ship it to the other buyer.

I don't know if that would be a good idea... what if buyer number 1 doesn't send the correct items or send a box full of snot and cat poop? buyer number 2 gets it, then they complain to eba y.

Haha didn't think of that, well they wouldn't know it's buyer #2, they probably think it's my alternate address. But yes always a risk if they take too long etc. Just don't want to get in trouble for dropshipping with Ebay not sure if this counts and they'll flag it.

two problems-
first buyer may not get his refund since tracking shows he didnt ship to your return address.
You would be using a tracking number from first buyer to second buyer,Ebay may think you are engaging in retail arbitrage since you did not ship from the location in you listing.
But most Ebay buyers are agreeable,I have done it with no problem.
Just make sure you refund the first buyer
