Do violations of "unpaid fees" ever expire?

We know that Vero violations are not taken into consideration after a year or two, does that apply to unpaid fees too?


Btw, if eBay sends the unpaid fee to a collection agency, does that automatically mean an automatic indefinite suspension of the account? Or is there a possibility of eBay reinstating the account after one pays the collection agency the full amount?

I don't think unpaid fees are forgiven if they remain unpaid. If there are exceptions, these would be rare.

I've seen it go both ways after it goes to collection.

Ring eBay up and give some boohoo story and then ask what can be done to reinstate your account. Do the same with the collection agency.

If you do not pay fees the account will be suspended after 2 month in 70% of all cases. 30% it will be just restricted for selling (it is random)

they try with collection agencies but they do not put to much effort in it.

Unpaid fees are never forgiven. but if your acc was restricted or suspended due to unpaid fees they will restore it after you pay the fees

I have had accounts restricted for selling (low amounts of fees that went unpaid) within 2 months but I have paid immediately and been reinstated shortly after. Never had accounts go to collection so can't really comment on that part - i'm figuring those ones in your real name?

PS: unpaid fees become like a toothache. One can never be sure what might happen.

Get control back and attempt some sort of resolution.

I had an account suspended for 5+ years for unpaid fees and then the other day I logged into that suspended account, contacted eBay staff they told me to pay the fees and I'll be unsuspeded so I paid them and the suspension was lifted easy as that.

The agent you got in touch with was also a good one then - can't say enough that the the type of agent you get in contact with can make a huge difference...chance effect

I actually got in contact with 3 different agents and they all said the same thing surprisingly.
