Ebay reduced my seller limits out of nowhere
Hello I'm new here. My seller limit was reduced from 60k to 20k. I've had the account since 2010 and had been buying and selling on and off. Last year I started selling higher volume, pokemon cards and film cameras. Over the last three months ive sold 26k worth of items. This triggered an audit and they placed a hold on my payments and then within an hour i received a patronizing email saying they've reduced my limit as a preventative measure even though i had been doing great and providing good customer service with nothing but good feedback. I have nearly 500 feedback score. I know for a fact i need to reach the back end dept of Ebay trust and support but don't know how to do this. Any ideas? I've got great seller reviews and ratings and imo they have NO reason to do this to me. I ordered another 6k of inventory prior to receiving this email that i cannot sell this month because of this completely random restriction that was placed on my acct with ZERO warning. I will be forced to sell the rest of my stuff somewhere else and I REALLY dont want to do this but what other options do i have? Has anyone gotten this message before? were you able to fight it? What exactly is the logic behind limiting how much money i can make for ebay when ive proved over the last few months that im fine handling this volume.
