We removed this item to protect you and your buyers, because we believe it is likely to be counterfeit. To make this decision we consider the details you provided about your item, reports we receive from brands or members of the community, buyer feedback and the reasons buyers returned the item. Please do not relist this item.
What you need to do next
Items removed for this policy cannot be relisted. Please ensure that your future listings are for authentic items only. For these items, they should be described accurately and completely, so buyers know that it is an authentic item. | Let me tell you what to do Apple are not on eBays vero program so they will not pull your listing down if your charger is Apple charger or not. It’s the eBay bots who pull Apple products down and it’s down to a number of reasons. eBay bots can detect if pictures of Apple product is genuine or not especially if only few pictures are taken so it’s best to take as many pictures as you can only if it’s authentic Apple charger if not authentic Apple charger you can use eBay catalogue and prefill everything in. Stock photos are the best for Apple products but obviously don’t go taking photos from legit websites or anything like that use eBay catalogue stock photo and maybe use stock photo from several competitors or edit them yourself.
Next it all comes down to price eBay bots analyse products your selling to many different retail websites if the charger is being sold under it’s sold value then eBay bots will remove your listing. If an iPhone charger is going for £25 example sell for £20 not £10.
Description is important as well ebay bots can detect if product is genuine by description alone yes you wouldn’t believe but it’s true if you say no warranty is covered it’s a big red flag it’s best just use product details and product description and just leave it as that really don’t have to complicate things when it comes to the description.
Another thing to mention is if you have loads of these chargers I wouldn’t put more than 10 up either and I wouldn’t end the listing if you run out of stock. Put like 2 or 3 and if you sell one add one if you sell 2 and goes to 0 just edit listing and add 2 or 3 again. You don’t want to end listing and start listing again.
If your selling a branded product and member is apart of eBay vero program then it’s always best to just sell 1 at a time and then end listing but that’s another story.
Good luck with trying to sell your charger.
