Crazy traffic history - promoted listings

Hi All,

I've long suspected promoted listings was broken on my account, I would get maybe a few sales a month from promoted listings. This all changed on the 30th, now most of my sales are suddenly promoted listings for the same items which were only standard sales before. I have made 0 changes to the promoted % amount or to the listings during the month.

I have attached graphs for two random items which I haven't even sold any of during the time of my crazy sales on other items - just to show that it seems like my entire account is working differently.
So is there any other explanation to the graphs shown or was my account really bugged until then?

Here's the search impressions showing this too, so bizarre.

Your account just got unflagged by eBay's algorithm. I wish I would be in the same situation.

What your business about? Arbritrage? Dropshipping?

Why, did you get in trouble to be flagged in the first place?

both my accounts had this too. They restrict promoted listings. They give you like 4% of normal. Even tho if you ask them, they will say you are restricted completely.

The reason they give, is that the algo decided your account might not pay seller fees. Which is obviously BS, with MP.... But they don't care. You can't talk to the people that can do anything. And it's almost a secret restriction as well.

It used to happen to me on and off. Tho it's been happening non stop for months now. Until last week. I thought it was just random. But I guess it was the system in general that unflagged people. Usually only lasts for a month tho.
