Anyone got a 2023 method to remove ebay negative feedback?

I know this has been discussed before but the other threads are quite old and not that usefull.

You used to be able to call in and if you had a legit reason they would remove it. Now you submit it through the website on seller help and it's an automatic decline everytime- doesn't seem like anyone even reads your reason. A bot just denies every request.

60 day free returns.... make sure everyone who is unhappy opens a return request. Comes off quickly after the receive a refund.

Is this policy (like they are literally unable to leave a neg?) or just advice with the idea that people generally won't leave negative feedback if they can return whatever they bought?

Offer 60 day free returns, so when you get negative feedback, call to customer support, say that you offering 60 days free returns, and they should delete it.

We were informed that as of Tuesday that customer support can not remove negative feedback as the button to do it is greyed out and all requests have to done through the request in your sellers account and not by a telephone request.

Yes they do that after COVID19 redirecting every seller to seller help page where we can ask them to remove negative or defect and 99% its a straight NO.However few lines are open and they do assist you over the call.

this is exactly the case , the refusal rate on the online form is now close to 100% and in most cases where they accept a violation of the TC's they do not remove the feedback but only the text of the feedback

best shot would be to call and try over the phone

you make average ebay customer too much intelligent. Push people to open return or claim it's the worse situation for a negative feedback

Is not told that a person open a return will not leave at the same moment a negative feedback or leave it when return or claim is still opened, and in that case negative feedback can't be removed until return or claim schedule is closed

You are also not considering that for most people open a return schedule is the same to climb the Everest, and maybe they will give you a negative instead
There are also people that are not interested to give back a few bucks item...and they will give a feedback just for sport...and so on..

i usually spam the customer care until feedback is removed, i have an account with merchant dedicated customer care and it's very hard....they ever ask to keep in touch with customers and lick their as-ses even if they are wrong 100%...fighting that behaviour since time...i'am asking to be downgraded..for the other there is no problem to remove negative feedbacks

Ok, so if a customer leaves you a negative feedback, but your listings have 60 day free returns, so you tell them to open a case with ebay. Once you've refunded them in that case on ebay, ebay will automatically remove the negative feedback. Is this correct?

Does it work every time?

I've had legit reasons and they still refused. Obvious lie, buyer was a scammer. Ended up using services from here was done in 24 hours how ever they do it

I haven't called in recently, but are we saying merchant support can no longer remove feedback also? Is this true, or just people giving false impressions talking to normal support?

Since 2020 if you call normal support they redirect you to open a ticket via your account, but last time I checked which was 2022, you can still call merchant support and they are able to manually remove feedback. They've always had superior abilities compared to normal support. Call normal support they tell you its impossible, blah blah, but it's not, at least to my knowledge.

Having said that, I offer free returns, and although I hate paying for a customers return label it's worth the peace of mind knowing they cannot leave negative reviews. I think it's even possible to persuade a customer service rep to remove the feedback if it's left beyond 30 days and you offer free returns. I would never offer 60 days, but if you just talk about the policy in a way to emotionally make them agree with you they will remove it.

The customer still can leave feedback despite you offer 30 days or 60 days returns and yes few lines are open where you can speak with them directly.

They can leave feedback but you automatically qualify for removal if you have free returns. It must be "free returns", it cannot just be 30 day returns where the buyer pays for the return label. If you have that, and a customer leaves a bad feedback the system should remove it for you, if not sending in a ticket will get it removed per policy.

I am skeptical now that egay has changed their system that any of these services can remove neg feedback anymore... Seems they will not remove it as easily as before

I can not see that if you offer free returns that the feedback will be removed, I have always given free returns and if and when any negative feedback is left, rarely is it removed when you open a ticket. EBay state that the feedback does not effect your seller status and it is the buyer reporting their buyer experience, if you want it altered ask the buyer to amend it.

Then you are not articulating yourself correctly. It is written in the policy that it will be removed, and does get removed. If an agent denied your request which means you cannot do another ticket, you can call in and get it resolved. I personally don't take no as an answer when I know they're lying or uneducated in the policy.

Yes they have recently changed the policy doesn't matter if you provide free returns or not the first question they will ask is have you submitted the request through seller help and if they denied it you will have to call again and again to get that removed eventually you will find some Rep who knows the policy and get that removed.
Its possible to have it removed but you will have try again and again.

I just called, it is the same scenario that usually happens. Ebay has policies that the normal support do not know. You need to contact anchor support, and it is removed. Nothing has changed with this, it is the policy but only people who actually care know it works and get the protection needed on eBay. I think that is partly intentional by eBay. I suppose in a way its a good thing that most don't think this is a policy, because for those who do, it is very important to have while selling on eBay.

The feedback should be removed within certain cycles of eBay refreshing the system. If it doesn't work you probably need to upgrade your account to anchor support, or call in and ask them to remove it.

you can Ask the buyer to revise their feedback. This is the most common way to get negative feedback removed. Simply send the buyer a message and ask them to change their feedback to neutral or positive. If the buyer is reasonable, they may be willing to do this.
many times it works.
also, you can "bribe the customer" offering some discount for next purchase.

This^^^ Half the time they'll agree other half you'll get ignored. If you get ignored, many sellers on fiver for like $10, only pay after successful removal too. 5/7 for me so far, so pretty high success rate.

Even then i login to eBay from didferent browser they ask me number vertification.
