Mysterious UPS Tracking

Hello,

has anyone an idea, what is the meaning of "Import-Scan", when a supplier sends me merchandise with UPS.

Why scan they so many? And its a little slow for UPS-Saver.

Can anyone help me, because UPS said, they dont see a problem, but didnt have any details.

meh. It might be that the sender had an error with the address: it seems to have been looked at in a different port that you thought. It seems to have been checked then forwarded to its correct destination. There it will be scanned again to balance their paperwork,

I have found with a parcel scanned like that there was damage to the package. Not saying this is the case but overall this has happened to my imports. Just annoying for you

what is the meaning of "Import-Scan"?

I meant to say that IMPORTSCAN is a software program. Any parcel coming into the USA has a label encoded (barcodes) as well as customs form. Parcel gets scanned after entry....hope that helps

okay i called UPS again.

So its the worst case, they found out my merchandise is recopied. And custom, holds the package, until they know its not recopied.

So I think they will destroy it, will something else happened (seller shipped me 25pcs).
