Hi, if you are sending small/cheap items you don't need to worry about tracking.
I'm afraid I don't know that much about the United States postal system but if you use USPS I guess the easiest option is to take the package down to the post office. You tell the cashier what it is worth and that you want to send it with tracking/signature confirmation. You pay and get a receipt with the tracking number on.
You can then enter this number on Paypal so the buyer gets it and you can track the package through the USPS website.
Or if you use a courier you can do it all online. You pay the postage, print the label and either arrange for a pick up or drop it off yourself. This will then be scanned by the courier and you will again have a tracking number to enter on PayPal and the couriers website.
