Default buyer still give negative feedback after money refunded

hi, i guess many sellers do run out of stock from time to time, without pulling the listing in time. then if an item sold but it is out of stock, we offer a refund. but sometimes, the buyer will still send negative feedback, how do you do about that?

they will refuse to revise the feedback when contacted.

i even have one buyer who accept a free gift sent to him, and did nothing to my feedback revision request as we agreed beforehand.

i heard seller can send strikes to these buyers, as we have refunded money, and in ebay they still show as a unpaid item. if they got a strike their feedback will be removed, is this true, if yes i will have to do it to these busters.

You can try that but in my opinion you will just create problems for yourself when the buyer responds to the NPB dispute....

And the fact is in this case you are a Non Performing Seller so your best bet is to take it on the chin and avoid selling items you don't have in stock.

hi, thanks for your reply. what happens if they respond to NPD? i got a strike? and the feedback stays. not much to lose in that case..

It might be worth considering I suppose.

But abusing the NPB process could be cause enough for suspension if found out.
