Greebay believes that by giving an "auto positive" to the buyer, the seller is forced to take stock of his business and goods, in the event the item is "not as described" or "missing in action" he must face the firing squad of criticism: "Are you or have you ever been a member of the Red Communist Party?" And before you can answer, POW!

This will only feed the scam artists already at work defrauding sellers from rampant "buyer abuses", eBay Will Eventually Rid Themselves of All Sellers and go full time with their own inventory catalogue like a best buy online or J&R.. etc.

It's genocide via feedback.

Sellers can still get some checkout system that doesn't update it on ebay. The only thing is it needs the combined force of multiple sellers giving retialitory negs before each buyer learns it is wrong to destroy a seller's feedback when contacting them to resolve an issue will do.

It is the threat of negative feedback that will make a seller help you out. If you already negged your seller, then the seller isn't going to help you anymore.

i propose we start making a list of stupid buyers that all of us should add to ban list...or that won't help much..?

My negs against un-warranted negs are very harsh to the point I have called buyers nazis and terrorists. I think the buyers paid me back by staging very negative campaigns against me to the point eBay won't answer my emails or dare frig with me anymore. At the price of being expelled. Sometimes you need to go mano y mano with these potential crooks.

Sad state of affairs when the seller is reduced to calling buyers crooks. But I have run into too many on Nazibay and Half.scumbags.

eBay only lets you put 1000 people in blocked bidder list and most of us sell in completely different categories so the buyers won't overlap. The bad buyers are maybe 10,000,000 of so and a lot of them will make new accounts once they get some negs on them.

The only good thing of giving a buyer a neg is they'll have trouble if they ever want to sell off some of their old used junk in their home.

One good thing is that new sellers can get the "buy-it-now" (i.e. 10 +ve feedback) option very quickly now.
