Default Chargeback?

what credit card company do you use to make expensive purchases on dhgate or on ebay to be safe?

i am wondering because i just had a large order seized and the seller is refusing to ship or refund the money.

ive been reading that american express decides mostly with the buyer in case of a chargeback.

so which credit card company should i use to make purchases mostly on dhgate to be protected and be able to do a charge back if seller doesn't want to re-ship?

credit is not an issue...

Can't you open a dispute on dhgate? And why not use paypal on ebay.

I use paypal for both.

yes i opened a dispute on dhgate, No one has responded and live chat wont help me. They told me to wait for a responce and seller told me to make another order from them so they can re-ship the products, personally i dont want to buy anymore products from him... so i just want to be extra protected if i get a bad outcome.

Ohh and paypal sucks, thats why i dont like using them! items not as described will get your dispute closed asap! i bought a heat press that didn't work and when i did a dispute BAM!!! it got closed immediately..

Did you get a letter from customs? If so, did you scan and send it to dhgate, as that should be enough to get your money back.
If you paid via CC, shouldn't you be able to do a chargeback, have you phoned them?
