It depends on the item.. If you list high risk items with a new account it can take over 12 hours to appear..

Question.. why does it take so long? And how do you know if the items been listed?

High risk items on a new account is not good..

I believe an employee has to approve them before they go live.. You know it's been listed when it shows up when you search for it. :D

Augh... I have to search 1000s of listings to find if my item been listed :(

IF that's the case than ebay must have 10000s of employlees.. I feel sorry for them lol

Are you brand new to ebay? You've never looked at one of your listings live?

No they don't review every auction, only high risk items mostly from new sellers.

Sort of... well... I never listed anything with my real information due to my age. I have never looked at listing live before

The way I check if my listings are live is...

Go to your "My eBay" page and click on your eBay user name. (The one with your feedback score next to it)

Then on the left click on "Items for sale"

This will show you ALL your listings that are live on eBay.

If you have lots of listings, use the "Sort By:" box and use the drop down menu and change it to Time: newly listed

TGMT's method works great.

If you have multiple accounts you would like to check, you can use the Community tab and search for each user name.

How old does your account have to be before this wait ends? My account is over a month old with 10+ feedback.
