Package in Customs for over 2 weeks

I had my package in Customs for over 2 weeks, but then they actually released it. After 2 days, I see online that "the package in undeliverable as addressed". I really don't think that my seller did a mistake, because it's not his first time sending to this address. (like 3rd already). Have anyone experienced something like this? I don't know what to do now, should I go to post office and say that this package is mine and ask them to find it, or maybe Customs is waiting for me to get caught. I mean it's been at Customs for over 2 weeks, what have they been doing to it? Please help, it says online that package will be returned to sender.

If the online tracking says it is being returned to sender then there isn't much you can do at this point. Most likely your sender put a different zip code on the package to try and route it through a different customs location which is common with some sellers that ship via EMS.

Well it was still going through San Francisco, and online it says Temoe which is a town in the same metro area as I am...

what harm is there in calling the Post Office, you have the tracking number so can give them that

If it is replica items maybe you dont want to be following up?

re 2 weeks in customs that is pretty normal globally at this time of year due to the huge volumes being shipped

I had a similar issue in the UK and called customs, they sid there was a 300 GBP charge for duty, I agreed and they shipped next day. They actually authenticated the goods by their invoice even though they were not the real thing
