Dormant acct got hit by MC010

my acct is 5 months old, a few bids, no wins, no feedback.

Started selling by Listing 2 cheap toy items---not hot sellers at all. Got something from ebay saying to call them. It wasn't an email---it popped u when I log in.

Acct is stealth but I called just to know what happens. Was put on hold, then the guy said I have to submit documents, THEN (not before) was given MC010. He didn't ask questions at all. No link to other accts. Any ideas what tipped them off? Are dormant accts scrutinized?

Yep! Dormant, sonnomant or new, it no longer matters.

On the 1st listing any account has the potential for an MC010. Been that way for months.

You should consider changing your game plan. With a dormant account, make sure it has some activity B4 proceeding to list. If there's a paypal attached, use the paypal too

MC115 is also a verification ID - usually address limitation ??

I'm still not sure whether that MC010 is random or not, but it's not something that should shake you up completely. If you can provide the documents they ask for, in my experience, that means "now we have your info and we are safe, so sell all the **** you want." Untill you piss off a buyer maybe, but this is not what you asked for, I'll let someone else answer your question properly.

Older accounts get hit with mc010 easy, newer accounts don't, I had some 7 mo. old accounts that got hit a few minutes after listing, I've sold on over a dozen new ones and none of them got hit, new accounts are better.
