Default ebay open dispute, article in USA customs

Hello, I am enrolled in aspkin since November 2010 and I read every day but never had any problems.
Thank you all for the work they are doing.

I have an issue to tell.
I sent a package from Spain to the United States on March 6 and March 10 from the office of the United States.

Today the buyer has opened a case on ebay for items not received though in many cases I have advised the problem with customs in use.

I was already anticipating this situation, had verified paypal account and now when the email from ebay law of the case open I saw the wolf ears. I immediately went to paypal and able to close the account altogether.

Not what will happen with ebay ebay do you think that I could permanently close the account because they may not return the money to the buyer?.

The article was sent by certified mail and I'm sure eventually receive, a matter of time, so I closed my paypal account so they could not return the money to the buyer because the end will have the money and the item.

Thanks for your answers, are doing a great job.

You sent it via certified mail with tracking so you have to provide the info and (worst comes worst) you call up Pa yp al to notify.

I don't like the idea of closing an account to block potential refund to buyer. Any one looking at your account will see this as a HUGE FLAG and your future stuff with the eb ay account looks bad.

I would not have done this. All the best.

Finally paypal sent me a survey, though, and definitely cancel the account.
