Default Had silly offer from friend: is it risky

Hello guys,
New here, very glad I found this place.
The question is - My friend's account is almost 3 months old, he listed about 3 items but didn't sell nothing, what do you think, when eBay should let him sell without limit?
The situation is:
1 Year ago I bought an eBay account with 19 Fb's - 18 pos. and 1 neg, for 250$ from some guy i know. I started selling men shirts, and got about more 80 feedbacks in 3 months. I had some problems on the way and also got suspended once, they finally let my account continue selling.
About a week ago I made an order from new supplier of Men shirts, it's on my way to me. I count on this and want to make this a full time job.
Yesterday a friend of mine who got into eBay, without seller feedbacks asked me to connect our accounts so he could sell without waiting for the Selling limit to disappear. What should I do? is it safe? What if he'll get suspended, will it ruin both accounts? This is my only account, the another problem is that my brother also paid for it and count on this that 20% of my selling goes to him.

Many thanks guys. A help would be very much appreciated.

Anyhoos, the idea is SO bad. I could write pages on a reply.

Quickest reply: friends and business do not mix. Brothers and business do not mix.

You are already learning the hard way by having to pay off your brother.

Keep the account with your brother going. forget the friend. read the forum, go stealth and look after yourself. .

Welcome to the forums. Not a good idea to hook up accounts - all it takes is something to go off and take you down.

Otherwise, all the best as you read around and contribute to the true purpose of the forum. Stealth is good.

if you have not learned how to go it alone, then you are not ready to make it full-time job (but personally do not agree with reliance on it anyway). Going it alone makes things 10 times easier for you, and you do not lose friends, relatives over money...

pay off your brother, tell him to have his own acc, share your knowledge, try and sell slightly different stuff so you are not directly in competition...

That edit was my gift to welcome you

What about NOT doing business with a friend are you misunderstanding? What he does is his concern. We dont do 3rd party advice. If he wants to find out how to do ebay, he can join.

You need to look out for yourself. Otherwise, you will get tripped up because of the friend.

You can make a stealth account but how you sell will determine how it goes. I'm detecting that you want to race to make money and will go too fast. Well do that and face the risk of being limited.

Take a step back, read heaps more. You really need to do this.

The other thing you need to do is make sure your flag stays as ISRAEL. Dont be pretending to be in the UK.

I'm struggling with this - what would you gain by linking to a 'friend'? Stealth needs to be as simple as you can make it while at the same time getting where you need to be.

Being involved with anyone in business, unless you are absolutely sure of them, is a risk and I think Oompah sums it up admirably.

I'm in business with my other half but because he knows what I do he wouldn't even go on the computer from our IP without first talking to me. It's a delicate game we play and playing with others only makes it more complicated than it need be

Save your friendship and reject his offer. He'll learn more by starting off like everyone else anyways.
