Default Questions about two older accounts

Way back when, when I wasn't as wise, I was lazy and allowed accounts to be linked with one another. After a while, many of the accounts and PP were limited or banned. Most accounts and PP was banned/limited for a different reason, but all banned at the same time. Now throughout this shutdown most accounts were closed except a few sleeper accounts and non sellers, and this one with fees due. Well this one account didn't get banned, it's pretty old. Established seller, well maintained. High DSR ratings, well over a hundred feedback. Of course it was linked with other accounts but never shutdown. The only reason it is suspended now, is because I decided not to pay the fees as I feel it was a waste.

My question is, do you think it is a waste to pay the fees, and attempt to re-establish the account, or at least check its standing?

I am debating whether or not I should, now the fees aren't extreme, but enough to where I am making this post. All feedback welcomed.

You can make a one-time payment using any ABA routing number and account number. Once you make the payment logout and then back it and check your balance. You should be able to list. If the account stays alive you need to add a real payment method because the bank payment will be declined in about 4-5 days.

Many have had success in doing this but also many have reported that same account has went down over time.

If it were me and the account still had good feedback, high feedback does not mean anything if you have a ton of negatives etc. I would try it if I knew I could recoup the money and make some before they would possibly take it down.

All by chance.

Yeah I would try it. Although I had an old account from 1999 that had over 20k feedback that I thought I could fix. Back then neg meant nearly nothing and no DSR's to deal with. WOuld never slack off now.

Anyway, I tried to save it back about 2 yrs ago and couldnt catch up fast enough to make it matter. It was easier to just start over and go stealth since I was learning so much on here. It would be easier to do top rated with a new account than it would have been to get that one up to par for it.

Thanks for the replies, creating new accounts isn't really the problem. It's all the limits and what not. I guess it's 50/50. I'll probably pay the fees, let it cool(see if they limit or suspend it). If their aren't any selling limits or a higher limit set I might use it again or keep it as a backup or whatever. I'll post later on to update on what happened.

Had a similar situation. Before I knew about being stealth. Was going threw my accounts and found a account that was old with good feedback. Decided to pay the fees and see how it went. Then I got an email I never got from ebay before. Said I wasn't suspended but my account was linked to another account. It actually said the account in the email. I called the ebay number in the account. Told them I log in at Library and they took off the restrictions. If it was me I would try what italiguitar recommended. Couldn't hurt to try.

Default Will there be sellers limit on an account over 5 years old and only item sold?

This account say over 5 years old, has sold 1 item before. Successfully sold, received no feedback for it. Haven't sold since. Will there be any sellers limits on how many items you can list?

Yes there will be.

Account's age means nothing any longer.

In fact its age, and return to selling may well flag it quicker than a new account.

lol, the will not raise flags any more than a new one. if anything it would be less of a worry. GreenBeans says stuff just to say it sometimes, even though it is no where near the truth. People need to stop saying things if they really do not know
