I had this happen recently on an $8 item. The lady didnt want to send it to any address other than the one on paypal for the delivery protection.
All I said was "tell you what, I will go ahead and post feedback saying I received it and its great so you dont have to worry about any kind of not received claims, etc". She felt better and just sent it to where I wanted. Not sure if it will work on everything but small items that mean nothing, why not.?
In the past before I settled into a perfect address scenario I just put in a neighbors address across the street and a couple doors down. The mail man delivered it to me since it had my name on it but the address what circled with a "?" next to it. lol.. As long as your carrier knows who you are and the pkg is addressed on your route, he/she will figure it out. They know who lives where on their routes. They just think its some moron writing the wrong house # on it.
I wouldnt make a habit of it but it does work perfectly.
