Default Delivery Questions

I'm new to eBay selling, I've items such as Smartphones, Games and others to sell.

As a new eBay seller, I won't sell valuable items at the start, is it good to start selling games first and when I have 5-10+ positive feedbacks, I should start selling Smartphones?

I'll be using Royal Mail but which service of delivery should I use?

Should I take pictures of the product and the package of the buyer address before I dispatch it just in case?

Also should I create a Auctiva account to be used with eBay as well?

You may want to hold off of the expensive items, as you will most likely get more money once you have an established selling account, and have a trustworthy history. With selling general items and beginning to sell just make sure you describe the item exactly, list any flaws, take plenty of pics, and make sure to ship it out as soon as you can with tracking and/or signature confirm if pricey.

What service you use depends on the value of you items. But generally speaking the fastest service that fits your budget.

You can only answer this one correctly.

As far as images go......you can either use an image hosting site and copy the html into your listing so you can put as many pics in there as you want for free, or else depending on ebay you can use their upload options. Sometimes ebay offers up to 6 free photos, sometimes only one.

I think you should pay for the delivery service that will protect you the most.
Games and phones are high end items that generally have a high 'defective' or 'return' rate by most buyers. Im not saying that your items will be, but the buyer will try to put it on you as much as possible to get a free/low cost item.

They will try the SNADs and Open cases left and right, especially if they see you're a new seller with a certain amount of feedback.

You will need tracking, sig conformation and take down the serial numbers of your electronics, take snap shots of the 'seller protection' logo on a paypal page for said transaction, and keep buyers phone numbers if you need to take it a step further and let them know that you are a human being and will fight for every penny.
