Can you do a one-time-change of address to purchase an item from seller who doesnt...
Hello, my fellow stealthers! Miss ya much! I was wondering if it was possible to do a one-time-change of address to purchase an item from a seller (large company on ebay) that doesn't ship to PO Boxes. The address I can give is not one that I have ever had or associated with any of my ebay accounts. I tried emailing the seller about changing the listing so that I can purchase and email my home address, but havent received a reply and it is down to only one of the item left. I dont expect a response for another couple of days to be honest and understandably so. Or is there another way of doing it? Thanks!

You can add a new, alternative shipping address to your eBay account, and that will be imported into your PayPal account as well. So the seller shouldn't have a problem shipping there once you add it to your eBay (you can do this at payment time if you wish).
Your original ("registration") address will still remain on your account, as this is just another delivery address that you will be adding.

I wont ship to non listed addresses so I tell people all the time to just go in and add the additional address and I will ship it to your friend, parent etc.

Thanks! I did click on "add a ship to address" on the check out page of the item I am trying to purchase. The account has been up and running and used daily since 2010 (thanks lakeman ) so I have to fish and find the original info.....when i click on my personal info on ebay it has most of the phone number XXX'd out. hmmm....

When changing to adding ANY info you need all of your original info right in front of you.

I am sooooo dense! I hate that the only time I get a chance to get on here is after a looooonnnnnnng day. The phone number is posted right there when I try to "add an address" on my PO Box address!.....found this out AFTER I had the genius idea of logging onto paypal for my phone number. God Lord, sleep is a one thing we should not do without
Well did it! Clicked on "buy it now".....went to pay....added ship address....and same phone#....selected that as shipping method for "this purchase only"....and payment went through successfully! Already got feedback from them (automatic)....so hopefully I will get my item and keep my stealth account,lol!

Quick tip:
leave this address on file for at least 6 months.
Next time ( & in fact any other time) you are using using a shipping address, check twice that you use the correct one.
Once the chargeback period is over ( 7 months or so) techincally you could delete this address.... but that's your choice.
