Not really, Most of my accounts have gone up 1 step within 2-3 months, usually up too 20 items $2,000 but everyone is different I suppose.

Every account is different.

Just ship fast, describe your items well, do great CS and get good fb and high DSR and they will move quickly.

the jumps usually don't happen before 90 days, at least not to me but i don't push too much. you DO have to sell to your limits in order for them to be raised

Can be 90 days - can be more. If you cant wait for the natural increase then call them up...I am not a fan of this because never know what will happen.

Follow Sandy's advice.

Don't get your hopes up. Some accounts will not raise for awhile. I have a couple accounts selling to the max for nearly and over a year now and they haven't raised from the original 10/$1000.

That's nothing for ebay and increased limits.

Many accounts wait 90 days or longer.

If you were to post you had been maxing out for 4 months, I would think that's not good.

It's category dependent for many users

My account increased to 20 items around the 4 month mark. Since I started, I have sold an average of 6 items per month on the account.

Around the 6 month mark, it increased again to 40 items, currently the account is at 40 items. But I am still selling around 6 items per month. I have 15 positive reviews on the account and no negative reviews.

Hope this helps.

I always sell right up to the allowed limits. In my testing I have found that when I do this those accounts seem to get raised. For example - On accounts with 50 items limit I sold up the the limits and got raises more often as time went by. On the ones with 50 limit and I listed and sold 10-15 items did not get any raises. Tested and now I sell up to the limit on every account.

Just opened a store (the price is now $50 a month, lol) and my limits were increased to 100 items straight away before selling a single item.

How long did you wait before opening the store? As in, how old was your account? Thanks toolman!

Within a few days (think it was maybe the 5th day since opening the account), and without selling any items. Not sure if that's the right thing to do or not but no problems as of yet.

Toolman89, if this consistantly works on an internationally, this is a major breakthrough. I'm trying this on one of my stealth accounts to see if it works. If it does, I will create a 2nd account on Aspkin to thank you twice.

Again - it can be random - if you have time, try and work with different accounts to experiment.

Must be happy ebay day as two accounts I sold on and went to print labels this morning got large increases.

Someone is being nice to us with decent raises.

Cant wait to log into more accounts today to see if they all got some raises.

It is absolutely random. Best thing to do is try to max out you limits every month and make sure you get the best possible feedback and keep your account in the absolute best standing possible. It is all about creating trust with eBay. The more trust eBay has with you based on whatever kind of formula they run the faster your limits will be increased.

Small update, I opened an account in mid September and sold to the max 10/$1000 since October. Limits were raised a few days ago to 30/$2200.
