Yes. Just go into System Preferences, then Accounts. You can setup multiple user accounts from there.

Quick search points me to this.

I'm running a mac and have a few accounts. Yes for each created username/account on your mac, the cookies and all that individual jazz is kept separate. Proof? Here:

Upon logging into ebay, I tell it to remember my password/username. Do my diddly thing on ebay, log off to the next awesome account. Do the same. Tomorrow, I log back onto the same accounts, all specific information for that account is still saved there. This is same for the other stealth accounts I have.

Hope that helps !

Like brownsauce215 said, the principle of stealth is pretty much the same for mac. You can even use windows VPS's with macs, as long as you download remote desktop connection from the window's website.

I think it's a bad idea to separate cookies through different user accounts. IMO, there is too much that could go wrong there, mac or pc. I'm a mac, I just delete cookies and LSO before I login to each account.

It just seems silly to not have 100% control over whatever ebay is using to track you. Letting the machine separate the cookies just leaves you open to something going wrong. Deleting them before each login and checking to see if they're deleted guarantees they're not linking you.

Absolute rubbish.

Firstly separate user accounts on a Mac are like Fort Knox, no way is anything getting in or out without your say so.

Secondly cookies are your best friends as far as e/b and p/p are concerned, they expect to see them and get very twitchy if there are none around every time you log in to your accounts.

Check out the posts where users are getting doc requests because e/b or p/p do not recognise the computer they are logging in from i.e. there are no cookies present.

ADVICE FOR ALL NEWBIES

Set up your user accounts as per stealth methods and LEAVE cookies well alone if you want a stress free life
