I signed into one of my sellers account this morning to see a nice raise in the limits.

Odd this is happening in the middle of the month.

Makes me wonder what they are up to next.

It's not just US accounts. I got limits raised like the above on the same day on accounts from Asia as well.

Whats the use of having such high limits if you have to provided SSN or EIN once you get near $20K in sales?

Same here...i got a 100/5000 limit raise a few days ago on one of my accounts (i have 13 accounts)..i did not get no emails...i just happened to look at my Seller Dashboard ratings..then went back to my main page and the limits were raised...weird.

Also that same day..ebay and paypal totally removed all holds on items i sell now..so the second i sell an item..i can immediately withdrawal it to my checking account if i wanted too...but i dont...i just let it save up a bit first just in case any unsatisfied customers....but i do send a little bit to my bank accounts...just not most of it...most of it keep for a a bit in PP.

I do a withdraw every morning 7 days a week.
I leave around $200 in the account to deal with returns.
Works out great.

My account is now around 6 months old and I have a selling limit of 1200/£8000 Selling limit increased from 600/£4000 this month. (I sell low priced items)

I have been calling them up every month for the past 3 months, and have had them increase it every time.

low priced....so low risk items as well?

that method may not work for everybody on here as not everybody sells low risk

my limits also raise. no emails received. 17 month old accounts. roughly 25 + feedbacks (100%). from 10/$1k to 25/$2.5k <--- Ballin' !! lol

I have 4 accounts total and so far, this is the only one that's increased. The other 3, same age, almost same feedback, but no limit raise :(

---

Are you people buying $.99 stuff for feedback with aged accounts as well? All my feedbacks been from selling. I would love to be one of those 2500/$1000000000 seller one day lol

One day you will .Just be patient.
My story , of all my accounts I have 2 now with 100/$5000 increases.I still have to check other ones .I have some with 20/1400 and 20/1800.
Still I wanted to come check here , because I really never get increases. But it seems like they (ebay ) just realized that , they make way less money by limiting everybody.
By just making this smart business decision , they just bumped their revenue in the millions.ASAT(as simple as that)
Also they are taking advantage on Amazon's restrictions on sellers. And weather they like it or not , WE GOTTA SELL.

My first stealth account...I opened it earlier this month. Initial limits 10/$1000...after having a nice conversation with eBay reps, got em raised to ***/$**,**** :-)

Yes, it is 100% stealth. They couldn't verify any of my info. No credit card added. Business verified PayPal. Business eBay account. ZERO items sold, just 1 item listed.

Its all about the talk... :-)

They used to just take down / limit the accounts at this interval for "security reasons", but instead this time they've raised limits on most of my accounts.

Either the system is now making this process automated, or there are some other developments going on..

I am hoping for some double raises this month.

28th comes along and maybe we can get lucky and pick up some extra raises on the ones some of us got this month.

In the past 3 weeks I have opened a made up variation of my stuff stealth acct & a friend let me use their info. Both accts have 10/1000. I think eb is doing this since the 1st of the year. I don't know what my friends credit is like but I don't think it's too good if that has any bearing. I am very happy with that as I really need to go SLOW.
