Am I missing something? I signed up in late april for an eBay store and I thought the new fees were suppose to go into effect May 1st but im paying the same fees as I was in March/April. Ive sold a DVD and SSD hard drive which should have lower fees if im reading right....

Am I missing something?

I signed up for a store but my listings I already had up are getting the 10% final value fee. Alot of these listings are "good til cancelled". Should i end listings and start new ones. Or will I get the new FVF once the listing starts over?

I am aslo getting the old prices - I signed the last few days of April.

user3657 05-07-2013 07:53 AM

whew! glad its not me :)

I think eBay baits and switch on their promos.....

I found out that the new final value fees only apply to listings created after 5/1. Anything listed before May 1st will get the old final value fees.

So if its a 'Good till cancelled ' listing when the listing renews at 30 days that will incurre free listing cost (if applicable ) and the new new FVF ?

Yea? Do you need to end and restart "good till canceled"?

I haven't found the answer to this out yet. I am going to troll the ebay message boards to see what I can find.

I posted this question on the answer center on ebay and get this response from a reputable seller:

You'll get the new fees automatically once they re-new on their own.

igotsuspended 05-09-2013 01:35 AM

You now get 150 free listing with Basic Store Subscription
So, you should end all current BIN listings before May and re-list them to get new FVF and also free listing fee.

Sausage 05-09-2013 02:42 AM

You don't have to end your istings, when they re-new they will be classed as a free listing.

You can check your my ebay page, its there showing the number of listings that are free and how many you have used up to date.

igotsuspended 05-09-2013 11:33 AM

Of course if listing are new the end of 30days period, otherwise ending them is good if you have buyers before you get new fvf

vogeltron 05-11-2013 11:15 AM

Well, I just noticed on my regular accounts along with the 50 listings they don't charge you to schedule auctions. However, with the store they still charge you 10 cents to schedule listings.

Just like before store sellers use to not get the 50 free auctions. I don't understand the double standard.

I know I am complaining about 10 cents but the double standard just ticks me off.
