You never really know where these eBay donations go. I personally never trust any 3rd party organizations who collect donations. Just because I know they only give 10 percent and keep the rest to themselves. You want to help someone ? Go buy warm cloth and food to the homeless etc ...

Still making sales, however the average sale price much lower. I can barely afford to pay the help and the overhead is getting bigger not smaller.
I work these months to be ready for holiday season when the real profits are made.

Best if you want to donate do it yourself.

Well you are on your to 20,000 post then.
But since it is positive like you said, we love positive thinkers who really contribute and actually help others.
Christmas is just around the corner and the $$$ are starting to appear.
Sales so far this week are well, usually show some green and get lots of items turning green on Fridays but this week it seems I am getting hit with multiple bids more then normal.
Tax returns or the first of the month might have a part in it. | The Following User Says Thank You to Sandy D For This Useful Post: | |

It is still very slow here and I think buyers just want to have something, but don't want to pay for it , thus they take advantage of the guaranteed refund process.
Sales literally dropped around 80%.
It's just so sudden it's shocking.

Glad it's not only me. Sales seem to have HALTED. Lots of watchers, no bites. Usually I can sell stuff within 24-72 hrs of listing and it's just been a flatline all week.
Hope things pick up for everyone.

We see these sort of threads literally every year.. As Golden_Monkey pointed out, there IS a pattern of slow sales EVERY year. We are starting the slow season that usually last 2-3 months and then things start to pick up again. Summer time is notoriously slow for most businesses. There aren't a lot of holidays to spur people into buying for no reason, people tend to go outside and relax as the days get better and you have to remember who your customers are.. are they Americans? Are they in the UK, AU? What are these people doing right now? Summer time is approaching, school is ending, people are starting to think about vacations and enjoying the nice weather outside (in most areas).
This is the time to start getting ready for the holidays, research new products, line up suppliers and get ready to crush it when people are buying left and right later this year.

Monday was pretty nice, but it's been drifting slowly. I just want to hit my 1000 QTY sale quote. Perhaps I can use this down time to research some ecommerce options, and shape it up rather than just browse eBay all day. Really thinking hard about shopify.

yea that is how the end of apr started going for me.
i'd have ONE good day.. and the rest junky.. i'd make a small amount of sales and just kept chugging along. then it got to the point where no good days.. and days with ZERO sales.
its a war of attrition for me at this point.... im listing like HELL!!!!!!!! and most of the time 75% of it is just RELISTS I've never had this amount of live listings ever.
The bubble has to pop right? so when it does i'll be shipping a sh*t ton of items.... until then... my listed stock is ever growing and im running out of room to put things |

Monday was great but after that it slowed again. I guess it was a rainy day around the world on Monday? |
