Default 2nd chance offers, anyone use them?

I remember I used to get a lot of fast sells just buy offering 2nd chance offers on some of my items that bid pretty high. Anyone else do that? Does eBay look down on using 2nd chance offer feature a lot?

Ive used it a couple times before, it definitely comes in handy when a non-paying bidder thinks hes causing a problem.

I dont see why ebay would look down on it unless theres absolute proof that the winning bidder paid for it using paypal and ebay caught wind of that. There would be a question as to why if it already sold are you selling others.

Each situation is different I suppose.

I use it all the time and usually get 4 out of 10 buyers bite the second time. Plus it is Free listings for second chance offers as well.

It is good when you list 1 item in the bidding format and you have multiple items available.

It is also amusing that some of my buyers will place bids higher than what they can "Buy It Now" in my EbayStore for less. Only if they did a little more homework.

Some ebayers just enjoy the bidding part of ebay. It excites them for whatever reason and they enjoy it. Maybe it gives them that extra kick to get them going during the day.
