 IP Address - with Vigin Media
Hi i am stuck on the first step changing the IP address as the steps in the Stealt guide dont work for Virgin Media Super Hub. From what i read you cant change the WAN MAC. Any ideas, below is the answer from Virgin Media
"The public address is assigned to your superhub's client mac address by VM's DHCP and cannot be changed by the user. It is unlikely to change if you power the superhub down for 30 minutes. The only sure way to guarantee a change to the IP is to change the client mac address by switching the superhub into modem only mode, your PC then becomes the client and a different ip address is assigned. Dependant on the number of users and the available IP address pool on your network segment, it may be weeks or even months before a change back to router mode will bring you a different ip address to that which you currently "
