I made a thread about eBay fees ( http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-fe...ebay-fees.html ) there eBay's Top Customer Care Department was talked about.
Do they still have this?
The long eBay hold times and lack of real seller support is a major issue when-With all of my sites I am paying 900k in fees monthly.

I've never heard of that dept. in my time on ebay, and over the years I've been on the phone with some fairly lofty eBay employees.
Once they suspended me, and I kept after them and finally (after 2 weeks of me hounding them daily) got a call from Matt Halprin, who less than 1 year later became V.P. of Trust and Safety......and he put me back on that day.......

I have not called myself for a year but I only talk to Top Customer Care. 2 minute hold would be long.
The threshhold was 30K monthly then raised to 50K a few years back. With your sales, you should hit the threshold no matter what.
You should have a single rep GhostMoney. Not even calling in like this unless you wanted to(was always my choice)
I will send a txt to my guys and see who they talk to and how long the wait it and report back tomorrow.

What level seller do you have to be? A few of my accounts are bronze, but that's not high at all......maybe that's why I've never heard of it......I spread my 15k a month sales over bunches of accounts....so I don't have one big one.......

If wait time is the only thing that makes it "top customer service" thats a joke.
It only means you get to speak to a scripted idiot that much faster. I mean the more I call them the more I realize how much of a "script" it is.
I can take 2-3 minutes explaining my situation and then they'll respond with a question that I already answered in my explantation. I don't know...the only "good" customer service I've gotten is when its the state reps.
Even though they're "better" they still usually ALWAYS condradict themselves in policy stand points. Paypal is better than ebay in this category.. much better.

You talk to a few people only. I used to send flowers on birthdays and weddings etc..I knew the six people I talked to daily very well.
Same on top customer care with paypal.
These are nothing like you are talking about. It is a whole different world on ebay when you start selling 50-100K a month on ebay. Some days I would have 10-20Negative feedback removed. Everyday 5-20 cased closed. You get to know these few people.
You also have ONE single rep in you want. You ONLY deal with that one person. Negotiate fees, free listings, etc... I never 'clicked' and preferred the six reps.

I was laughing at the idea of a top customer care department.
Your clearly filtering my posts threw negativity when my intentions are the opposite.
Yankee already cleared up my misconception.

Top Customer Care in the USA is now just a USA call center that preferences you before other callers. You speak to USA agents only and have shorter wait times. No more private reps unless you break the Five Million dollar threshold.
Confirmed by ebay today.
