Default Ebay listings that make you scratch your head

Warning Ebay links below. Take caution when opening them.

Basically a hot wheels car that can be bought in many places on Ebay for 5-10$ is selling for $120.78 including shipping with 41 sold according to the listng.

What am I missing? This is a total head scratcher.

It's all about the work put into the listing......And who doesn't want a Datsun 240Z 1:64 scale.

Thanks for that link. I just bought one. That particular version is a rare prototype / error version that was not mass-produced. Only a limited run were made and then they caught the error and fixed it. It really is a collectible. This guy somehow might have been involved in QC at the plant and scooped up all the bad ones instead of destroying them.

I was going to suggest that as a guess but when you read the listing he says that it doesn't have "collectible value"?

Where is the error? It looks exactly the same as the others that are listed for sale. Plus some of the feedback looks sketchy to me

You are right, it looks exactly the same as the others but there is just one error... the price
