I had this happen to me before when i purchased something on ebay and it shipped from Amazon, I tried to get my money back and got denied, this was how i discovered drop shipping.

This is why Amazon is the best place to drop ship from if you are going to do it. If a buyer comes at you with the problem like the OP said, then you can just say "I use Amazon FBA for all my shipping and logistics". Works every time for me.
