The worst that will happen is that ebay will restrict you from selling. This is why back up accounts are needed.

You should not have to worry about this if you conduct good business, ship fast and offer overall good customer service to your buyers.

If EBay or PayPal ask for invoices and you can't provide them....then the account(s) will most likely be Limited until you provide them with the invoices and possible Banned.

Yes my items are all real, and not copycats. I ship fast and ship all items within handling time. And items are not ever late. But i cannot provide proof of purchase. So the worst that can happen is ban? I'm assuming because they would be suspecting me of fraud or such because i cannot provide the proof?

Your post doesn't make sense. The first sentence is a contradiction. :(

If you've purchased legitimate items you would have some sort of proof of purchase. It sounds like you're meaning to say "I am selling high-quality knockoffs i have purchased but i cannot provide proof of purchase." Just being honest.

But as long as you don't sell too much too quickly, and you don't get a whole lot of complaints, you should be alright

i had a new account, sold items quick, shipped them fast with tracking and they still asked for ID and invoices. So it is quite possible.

Haha, it's a long and complicated explanation. But overall, my items im selling are originals. Not knock-offs of any sort. But okay, i have received no complaints. Thank you

Even if you have excellent customer service no defects and 100% feedback, if you start selling say around $3K a month consistently eventually u could be asked for invoices

Besides checking the Authenticity, eBay/Paypal want to make sure your inventory has been purchased legit and you are not unloading hot goods.

So no matter what you do , you can be asked for proof of purchase.

You reduce the chances of requests by selling well and spreadung sales thin over many accounts

agree. I have almost no doubt eb bot picks on accounts that do a lot better than average accounts, like with fast sells, expensive or very popular items. the bot also calculates many other factors and marks specific account high risk and then you receive a message from eb requesting ID and receipts (and i totally get this and consider it fair policy). i learned slow start is best. just cheap items and low volume to start with.

So should i also let my sales bounce? one month 3k the next month 2k, another month 3.5k, etc.? Also, i am planning on starting off with $100-200 dollar items. Not too pricey if you ask me. make $1000 dollars every account 1st month. This a good idea? Im doing this on a stealth. I've already got a main thats making money.

I get it, it's just very difficult to start low when im selling electronics. $100 is quite low in that range.
