Everyone has many accounts on one computer not a problem if you keep the separated

This is happening to me over and over again. What the hell! I confirm, and then a week or so later, it happens again. Same computer. Same browser. Same cookies.

I'm asking if the COMPUTER can be traced. As in, the machine itself. I have multiple user accounts on one machine. They said this was something new they started this year.

Can they or can't they track my MACHINE?

No they can not. As long as the accounts are under a different windows user and everything is kept separate when login in to each account, ebay will not be able to track you.

I've been blocking webRTC for a while now

I think its worth it to look into blocking it

Usually if you maintain a separate window user, you should be safe. Can you try again with a different browser?

If you have Firefox you just need to go to "about:config" and search for "peerconnection.enabled" and set it to "false" by double clicking it.

If you have Chrome you need an extension. WebRTC Leak Prevent

Wait, RTC? That's new to me. I just did what you said. What was happening before I set it to false?

Your real IP might be revealed by WebRTC. Go to https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/ to check. If you see your real IP, not good, if you don't, you are SAFE.

It's not showing anything, I'm assuming, because I did what you told me to do.

But I was ok with my real IP being shown, as I changed them when I use other accounts. I was just concerned about my computer info getting out to them.

Has anyone called them and had success reinstating the account?

They can't see the computer / computer specs

Only the information that you provide them with through the browser, like cookies/history/IP

@OP I would recommend reading the Stealth Book, in order to understand how basic things work. It definitely worth much more than it's price!! ;)

Ok, no offense, but at this point, you seem to just be posting for the sake of posting.

Next time it happens, I'll try to revise something and see what happens. Only happens on my other 2 accounts, when I change the IP address. But the warning is about my computer being different, not my IP

The device not recognized eb gives you ... If you have a account that gets this . for whatever reason .. it can be triggered on said accounts by hitting the relist /revise .. otherwise the accounts works fine if you keep listing new listings without hitting them .... I was having troubles with firefox switched to google browser and didnt get the error after that ..the rest of my accounts running firefox portable without issue .. only a couple accounts did this why I dont know . But 100% i would get them to send code it would unlock and then i would hit revise and bam same dam thing within minutes of unlocking its saying same thing .. :boink:
