Is this a good way to get feedback to new account?

A lot of sellers on Ebay are selling digital items for just 1 cent - even if it is not legal Ebay is not taking them off (only some of them).

As far as I know it is not illegal to buy these items so on a new account I am trying to gain feedback by buying as much 1 cent items as I can. I now have 40 feedback and should cross over to 100 feeebacks by the end of the week.

Is this a good method?

I also have 1 sale for a digital photo which I end everytime someone bids on it to gain feedback and stay under Ebay's radar - what do you think of this?

Welcome to the forum. Do a search of the forum and read through - I don't want to sound arrogant but answers are all over.

This is not a good way to get feedback - get stuff that you can use. And you are selling digital photo to start...pa yp al and eb ay dont like that.

Nothing happened to my account... yet. I also changed the auction I had to private and shipping method to Local Pickup offered.

I see some sellers getting away with it and some getting suspended. I think that if you have an established account you can get away with it.

Been selling digital photos for over a month, got tons of feedback and Ebay did nothing.

I also have a more legal way to get feedback, but I still haven't received any of the items yet.

buy wholesale from Ebay (they have great deals, usually cheaper than dhgate and aliexpress) then resale in singles item for $3 or $4.

you just have to add that you will mail a copy on listing - agreed you must be very established to do it...

I'm gonna have a small experiemnt...

I'll start some eBay Stealth accounts and upload a few auctions and then report them to Ebay.

We'll see which ones get taken off.

I would not waste time on that TowelKing - unless you have time to burn. Just focus on productive business.

Rsot, actually...if he is looking and ABLE to recover those accounts...why not? Then the accounts are just that much stronger now that they passed verification...and he learns something along the way too!

Recovering an account is actually not a big issue - I've had one account suspended 2 months ago. Lucky for me Ebay did not connect it to my regular account for some reason (bots not doing their job?).

I couldn't reach Ebay in the fax number they gave me so I faxed through an online service.

40 days later... account reinstated.

If you want to reinstate it faster you have to call Ebay too (you can call them through skype).

And the documents can obviously be manipulated with photoshop.

I see some sellers get suspended... others keep selling and I'm not sure.

He still sells them on 2 other accounts which are good - Ebay even removed all the feedback he ad from that listing. He had about at least 100 from the last month, now only 13...
