Default Negs r a coming

So been a tough week on the accounts, retards leaving bad feedback w/o consulting etc.. etc.. 1 claims they haven't received the feedback revision request etc.. Anyhow. i have this new one, on a 10 feedback account., It's less than 45 days old. I SCREWED up by putting a email address into my listing that wasn't the paypal address.. aka jo123@gmail.com i put jo@gmail.com i screwwed up, dunno how but i did. problem is jo@gmail.com is a real address. So i can't just make that email address up and login and claim payments (it's NOT REALLY THAT ADDRESS, i'm not stupid enough to post it here) anyway. I had someone wig out and leave me a negative saying i wouldn't accept their payment and i was to be "beware" of, pretty bad neg from a retard. If i can't get it revised... Should i scrap this account after my funds become available? I mean 1 negative and 10 feedback total.. is a crazy low 91% heh

I would contact them and explain you mistyped the email address and apolgize.
Ask for a revision then offer to pay extra to ship it faster maybe. Clearly no one deliberately refuses money lol!!!

I have often found out that whatever the circumstances phoning the buyer is by far the best way to sort out problems. People who are downright nasty in email (keyboard warriors) can really be caught out when you phone them.

I am in the UK and have several times phones the USA to sort out a problem. I can do it quite cheaply over the internet. Buy the buyer was blown away that someone took the trouble to make a transatlantic phone call from Europe!

Another trick I use is to phone not as myself but as my "virtual" niece. Like all human beings I occasionally screw up and probably deserve a neg. However my "niece" explains that I am elderly and disabled and that the income I make on eBay puts food on my table. So makes the buyer feel bad about leaving a neg or not agreeing to a feedback revision.

Sneaky? Yes. However I am genuinely elderly and disabled, And a relative can say things that would sound whiney coming direct from me.

I call it customer relations management and I quite enjoy the challenge of turning a bad situation around by a little bit of guile and cunning.

And actually the mean and coward ones will just hang up and demand you use eBay msg.

Because they are too scared to talk to you over the phone.
