indeed... so the question should be which European jurisdiction offers the best corporate and fiscal legislation in order to do business on amzn and ebay

"best" defined in this context: low maintaining costs, limitation of liability, low cost of forming a company, ease of forming a company, low tax rates

you are wrong, the thread not about the VAT fee, but about the VAT registration request by ebay and government

Not much you can really do but to provide a valid VAT number that matches the name on your eBay business account, my advice is open multiple accounts and spread sales and stop using your account before it hits the VAT threshold and let it rest for 6 months and work on other accounts and so on.

This is the best solution.
I have a question, there is only UK or US ebay accounts for sale in this forum, so I am curious for other stealth sellers in German/Italy/France who ship locally, how did they manage the VAT issue?

That I have no clue on as I don’t sell in those territories perhaps someone else on the forum can advise.
