Default Chances of approved appeal?

Did a sale on my store and sold too much and some orders fell behind. Few cases closed in buyers favor. Defect rate of 1.41. They send the mc011 message and removed all my listings. Said to provide proof of delivery on all items and then respond to start the appeal. Am I doomed?

I hope this is a good lesson learned. There should be no excuse why you should be falling behind like that.

At this point, there's nothing to lose by calling them and see if they are willing to reinstate you. But chances are very low.

you would think if you have 4 unhappy customers out of over 400 orders and almost 45k in sales they would cut you some slack. I'm just gonna hit the appeal and see what happens. either way I'm just gonna buy a stealth account and start fresh.

You need to make sure in future when you have a sale or a busy period you are prepared in advance.

Secondly you must make sure these cases are not escalated to Ebay. If they are and its regarding non item receipt Ebay will always favour the buyer unless you have provided tracking which shows the item was delivered.

It's best refunding and losing a little than losing your account. Longevity is the best way.

They don't care how much you sell, they nail you anyway.

Not to be overly harsh, but...

It doesn't hurt to appeal, but on what basis? Multiple customers filed INR, you didn't respond and resolve the issue in spite of multiple chances to resolve them, they refunded, you got punished.

Why should they let you do this again to other people? Your good word that you'll do better?

Successful appeal or not, be sure you don't make this particular mistake again.

I mailed out all the remaining purchases and appealed to ebay. 4 days later I get an email saying they need receipts and a utility bill and photo id. Obviously I cant do that as its in a name I made up lol

I think that's what we all said, the odds were poor to none. Even if you sent that stuff in, you're still toast.

And even if you were to give them those, chances are they'll be using those against you and suspend you permanently.

It's been a month now, I suggest you just move on and start building again.

I got one a couple of days ago but I didn't fall behind. They just asked for tracking and said to resolve in returns which I already had. I just finished packing and listing the day before's sales. The account was over a year. They did not ask for ID or vendor receipts. Anyone know what's up with that? CS reps didn't really know either

Sounds like you did not have all your tracking loaded.

Impossible for anyone to guess what went wrong with your account with the very limited details you've given.

Have you taken a look at your dashboard lately?

No nothing wrong in dashboard. Im guessing I was selling to fast to soon. I hadn't sold but one item since I opened the account. I also sold some kind of MLM supplements that the company did not want sold online. Another seller sent me a form letter from a law firm in a JPG saying I had to quit selling their product. its not banned and I don't see legally how they could sue anyone from selling the stuff. I Googled the law firm and it seems they are trying to intimidate individual sellers instead of taking on EBay or AMazon as a whole. Imagine if all companies could just declare that their products could not be sold online. The CS rep said it was also possible that having both mine and my wife's name on the account triggered a bot

So there is a reason, just one you don't agree with.

Move on, open a new account, and don't sell this **** any more.
