Default 2 accounts, 1 suspended, will the second one be ok?

I have 2 ebay accounts several years old. One has been suspended due to low dsrs. The second one is in good standing. Will I be okay still listing on the "good" one or will they suspend that one too since they are both registered to my name?

I have the same concern and question.... and got the same response, to try.

I have 3 accounts, one 6 years old, one 2, and one 1. Another family member has an account.

My 2 yr old account is restricted. The thing is, if I TRY one of the other accounts, maybe they will block the ISP altogether... If that happens... I'll need to go incognito anyway, so may as well go stealth right now, without risking losing the ISP for the rest of the household. I can still buy from my accounts.

The feeling I get, is I/we won't know and can't know if another account will work unless we try. We could also call and ask, I suppose, but unless you give them the reason for the question, you may get the wrong response.

My restriction notice said I can't use other accounts, but I still get selling/listing messages for the listing deals. I assume automated, and the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing, but the bots will know now, won't they? And I assume they will pull listings and restrict.

If they are not linked to the same paypal you are probably ok. i have had 2 accounts under same paypal and when one gets in trouble i simply switch to the other....

My guess is with the age of them your probably fine...buyer accounts are a dime a dozen list something and find out!!! its doing no good sitting there

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum but not new to eBay.

I've recently setup a new eBay account with a store but it's been suspended just last weekend after selling a couple of items.

The reason eBay gave me was:
-- Previous trademark violation including item removals
-- Previously suspended related account xxxxxx

I've had like 3 trademark violation within a week which I have 0 clue about the reason as the title is 100% generic and other eBayers are selling it as well.

Moving on to the 2nd reason, that account xxxxxx has never been suspended until the same time this new account got suspended and both account holders are separate(xxxxx acc holder is my friend). Been selling very well for the last 3 months or so.

My reply to them was:

1) i'm willing to remove any listing with trademark violation (even though I think it's 100% legitimate)

2) Told them this new acc & xxxxxx is totaly separate & that my friend no longer plans to sell on ebay hence he pass on all his item info for me to sell.

===> NO Reply.

Here's the funny part:

I just realised I've got another old personal account (more than 2 years old) which I've been using to sell/buy items on and off. I've also recently list an item which I've been trying to get rid of for a long time in my house as an auction & that account is still ACTIVE up until now!

SO, here's what I'm planning to do:

Start selling similar items on this account SLOWLY....

BUT the question I have is:

1) Is it advisable for me to setup a store again with the same name as the previous one that has been banned?

2) Do I just open up a totally new store?

3) Reason being I have an ecommerce site which I want to promote in ebay but I guess it's wiser not to do so at the moment....

Any advice guys?

P/S: I'm using the same PC + IP + ADD BUT Diff PayPal for this old ebay acc.

My second account, just got another email from ebay "not too late to sell. "

Good grief. It's all linked. Same IP. Same computer. Same paypal. I play with fire. Why not list something?

So, when one account gets in trouble, you switch the good account to a different paypal? Mine ARE linked to the same paypal... So I think I'll switch the still good account to a new paypal and then try listing..

I talked to an ebay rep and even she said to try and list. She opened a new window (at ebay) and checked, and said my accounts are not linked... so try selling in the 2nd account. HOWEVER, she said if the ebay "system" finds a link such as same name, address or paypal account, then if could become restricted.

How much info can I change on that 2nd account to make sure it won't get connected? Link to different new paypal, then keep going? Or is this a wasted effort? I have a new legit bank, but don't want to "waste" it on an account that may get the axe.
