Activity: 0% Longevity: 69% | | MC999 Your eBay account has been suspended
Hello Every One,
I Just created my first stealth account with all new information. Link to a verify Paypal account.
Just list 1 item and about an hour later got this email
Is this account gone for good? or I can do something to get it back?
Appreciate for all your help Quote:
Hello BigTruck,
Your eBay account has been suspended because recent account activity has raised security concerns. We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm--even unintentionally--to the eBay community.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account.
Any outstanding fees will be due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.
We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks,
eBay

Let me ask these questions:
1. Did you use Completely Different Information such as Name, Address, Phone, Credit Card, Bank Account?
2. Did you make sure to change IP address?
3. Did you make sure to clear out cookies?
4. Did you list an expensive, high risk item?
The account is gone, they either didn't like what you posted for sale or they Linked you to another account.
Stop!, I suggest you pick up the Stealth Book before you try to make another account. Get the book, read it, read it again, then after you have Mastered the book you can create a new Account.

Looked like something linked.
There could be a lot more info to be linked than just those in 4 points above.

I have now 4 stealth from 1 day to 1 week old running.
Make sure everything has to be brand new from hardware, software, and thought.
Any reuse might get linked.

Thank you for all the help here.
But I don't think it linked.
1/ I used a complete stealth info from fa*enamegenerator.com and new bank and CC information
2/ Yes, the IP is different, MAC different
3/ I used different browser
4/ I listed a cheap item like $2
- I don't have flash install in my PC
- I used TMAC to change MAC and get new IP
Thank you Quote:

How did you change your IP address? If you did it with a proxy or VPN or something like Hide My A$$ then they can detect that.

I am on Comcast.
I am using a Windows Server between modem and my home network.
If I want to change IP, I change MAC on network card which connects to modem.
I reset modem and I receive new IP always.
This would cost you another PC, but for me, I prefer this setup because I also have other thing to do.

The reason why you got suspended was probably because you listed 1 hour after creating the account.

One possibility is that eBay can not verify through their public records database the identity and location of the account holder. This is especially true if the address or name is completely fictitious. That, in combination with a bad VPN, will spell a quick end to a stealth account, no matter what is listed or what other precautions are taken.

We've enough reports from other users that listing within one hour of creation trips MC999.
Also from the OP's description of the account creation, it's not unreasonable that happened.
From a quick glance, his account simply does not look 'real'. The bots have detected that too

I think it's that website where you get your info from. I tested out 4 address' on there and I got nothing listed on google.
The address you list with ebay/paypal have to be real.

You can use any name you want but the address has to exist.
If the address exist then your half way there.....

Multiple factors I see here - address, listing too quickly, maybe rehash of phone number.
Point is - you can talk to eb and try to push for reinstatement, takes time and effort. Or let it go, learn and make new.

I have listed 1 minute after registering with no problem. However, there is such a thing as listing too much in one go... and you have to be careful in the way in which you do that to stay under the radar.

USA users have been having troubles when listing quickly.

Let say a real person creates an account first time to clean up his garage.
If eb can verify everything from him, why they have to shut down his account because of listing quickly.

Their system is just like that for some users - fast shutdown of accounts based on what is being sold, how quickly, status of pp, etc. Lot of different parts of the equation.
If you think that eb for a minute is a logical and simple platform, you're on the wrong site.
