MC999 experience & associated questions

Just got a MC999 removed on a 2 week old account. The first rep transferred me to Trust and Safety and the second rep just asked me about where the items were, if I sold anywhere outside of ebay like amazon or craigslist or facebook, then asked if the number i was calling from was a landline or internet phone or mobile phone. I used the Google Voice app to dial out and just said it was a mobile phone, worked fine!

Wouldn't have been able to do it without you guys! FYI I listed 1 used book and 2 used rechargeable batteries. It was the batteries that drew the red flag. ANDDDDDDDD now I know. The whole process was easy enough though.

Awesome Grislybear & Amysol. I have shared basically the same experience. After all the posts about MC999 and the press releases from ebay on the ecommerce WS about 15,000 accounts suspended. I can't figure out why the same people are asking the same questions to death. Did you list risky? Did you list too soon? Did you, did you, did you. NO you prolly didn't. Please quit beating a dead horse. It took nothing but just listing on any type of new account to draw a MC999. I can account for 2 of the 15,000 suspended accounts LOL.

Anything brand new will in 99% of the cases will draw attention to the account.
