Final value fee after account suspended?

Hi all
My first STEALTH account got suspended due to low rating...as usual some buyer left low feedbacks...anyhow I've since moved on with new stealth account.

My question is, i have $280 worth of invoice to pay but paypal was delinked due to some refunds by buyers. So no paypal is linked now.

Ebay keep sending me mail to pay the invoice.

Should i pay this or simply ignore? has someone avoided this before? I don't want that a/c back anyways and all info provided was incorrect...stealth way.

Please share your experience. I'm in Australia

In this case I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Just move on no point paying fees for the sake of it

Any time you get the chance to put one over on Ebay or Paypal I'd take it.

I'm sure someone here using stealth a/c must have faced the same issue....final value fee after that a/c got suspended. What did you do? Paid or not? Simply ignore and move on

You use there service you should pay for it.
even if you decide not to there is not much they can or will do about it

they'll just keep emailing you then they'll sell the debt to a debt collection agency who will keep emailing you until they realize its not cost effective to carry on and then they'll go away

do you even owe all the fees, you mention refunds to buyers, can you not recoup anything?

if you withdrew the money, pay the fees, it was built in to your margin anyway, if you were doing it correcty.

if they hold your money in paypal, then I have the opposite view, when it comes to fees, I am paid first or they can shove it......

When they suspend an account - they don't credit fees back anymore ?

About a year ago I had an account suspended - they credited back about 700 bucks, which was due to pay on invoice. But that account was blocked forever.

As far as I know, they also block accounts for one year.

They send email - '' your account is blocked for at least one year ''

And the account is '' No longer registered member '' after that.

Maybe in this case they don't return final value fees, if the account is suspended for one year ?

Seems like they do it deliberately, instead of permanent suspension.

Exactly what i received "your a/c is suspended for 1 year"

I don't think I'll get that a/c back after year ends as Paypal has automatically de linked me from this ebay a/c. So in case i do get that back, and try to link a new paypal to it, Paypal can de-link me again....so I'm giving up the hope of reinstating that a/c

I think they're doing deliberately this one year thing.

I am sure they have some policy about not returning final value fees, if account is suspended for one year.

In reality this suspension is as bad as an indefinite one.

Just wanted to input in this case - I never paid that amount even after receiving collection notice emails from 3rd party.
Simply ignored as it was my stealth account.
